Touring in the Yucutan

Hello out there in touring land -- we are two women planning a tour in the Yucutan in December of this year. Lots of things to see, this I know. Any counsel from experienced travelers in this region would be greatly appreciated. We are avid and experienced touring cyclists -- I have been to Cozumel -- as for the rest ... any information would be welcome. Thanks!

Touring in the Yucatan

Jan,

Mexico and the Yucatan are wonderful places. My wife and I are expats living in Merida. We will be glad to assist you. Please let us know a little more about what you want to do and where you want to go.

Brenda Carlton, a friend from Atlanta, visited us last January. Check out her blog on BikeFriday
http://community.bikefriday.com/mexico/brendacarlton.

Also check out John and Jane Grimsrud's web site: http://bicycleyucatan.com. It is the best source of information on biking in the Yucatan. But be ready for information overload.
