Recumbent bikes in South-East Asia?

Hello community!

The dream isn`t a fact yet, but to make my dreams evolve, I`m throwing this question at you ;)

The dream is to cycle around in South-East-Asia (while exchanging with local people through helping in their projects) with my loving friend. We are both European, but have been passing some months in Australia and are now going directly to South-East-Asia to spend some time with friends and to work in a local project in Northern Indonesia. The bike trip could start after that, within more or less a month (end March). I wonder whether we could find recumbent bikes in, for example, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore?

Thank you for your ideas! Have great travels ;O)

Recumbent bikes in SOA

Hi,
don`t know if it`s a good idea. Roads could be pretty steep up to 20 maybe 30 %. I`d to push it.
