First posting here.
I'm a mature Irish guy living in France and have just completed a London to Paris bike ride (as a charity challenge) and enjoy cycling. So I'm thinking of a long route over 8-12 days from Bordeaux to Beziers/Sete via the two canals - the Gironde river and the Canal du Midi from Toulouse.
It's a well-established, easyish route, and I am thinking of late 2023 like send of Sept and would like to share the time with one or more either the whole way or parts. Ideally, we could share to reduce costs/tents etc
The pace can change based on where we are staying, so planning with someone would be great, so hope to hear from you.

it not always a easy road : from villefranche de lauragais to beziers it is a very rought undeveloped towpath .
